PARK RIDGE, Ill. Penn State’s Madison Merriam was honored as Big Ten Co-Event Specialists of the Week on Monday.

The senior set a career high with a 9.950 on the vault in a loss to Michigan on Saturday. She shared the even honor with the Wolverines’ Brittnee Martinez. Merriam also tied for third in the floor exercise and was seventh on the uneven bars for her first weekly conference honor.
