Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board announces Centre County fee reimbursements

Centre County municipalities received $27,625 total as part of the state law that requires the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board to return liquor licensing fees across the state.

During the annual license renewal process, licensees pay from $125 to $700, depending on the type of license and population of the municipality. The PLCB returns the fees to those municipalities twice a year.

The current dispersal includes fees paid between Aug. 1, 2012 and Jan. 31, 2013.

The following municipalities received payments:

Boroughs — Bellefonte, $2,250; Milesburg, $300; Millheim, $300; Philipsburg, $450; Port Matilda, $200; Snow Shoe, $50; State College, $9,600.

Townships — Boggs, $400; College, $1,600; Ferguson, $2,700; Gregg, $200; Harris, $1,000; Howard, $150; Miles, $125; Patton, $4,800; Potter, $1,000; Rush, $600; Snow Shoe, $400; Spring, $900; Walker, $600.
