BALTIMORE — No. 9 Penn State dropped a 13-11 contest to No. 6 Loyola on Saturday.

Penn State (1-1) got two goals each from Maggie McCormick, Jenna Mosketti, Kelly Lechner and Aly Heavens, and one apiece from Tatum Coffey, Molly Fernandez and Madison Cyr. Cyr also gave out three assists while one each came from McCormick and Mosketti.

Taryn Van Thof and Kara Burke netted three goals each for the Greyhounds (1-1), two each came from Marlee Paton and Hannah Schmitt, and one apiece were registered by Anne Thomas, Katrina Geiger and Molly Hulseman.

Emi Smith made seven saves in the net for the Nittany Lions, who visit Duquesne on Wednesday.
