High school basketball: Bald Eagle Area ready for Tuesday doubleheader; State College boys play Wednesday

The Bald Eagle Area basketball teams will know the court they will be using Tuesday when they return to action in the District 6 tournament.

The programs will return to Hollidaysburg High School for another doubleheader in the Class AA semifinals. The boys will meet Northern Cambria while the girls will battle Blairsville for spots in the district championship games.

The Lady Eagles beat Marion Center 35-33 on Saturday while Blairsville dropped Juniata 49-25. The BEA boys also beat Marion Center 68-44, and the Colts ousted Tyrone 64-54.

The girls will tip off at 6 p.m., and the boys will follow at 7:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, the State College boys will meet Central Mountain in the Class AAAA final at St. Francis University at 8 p.m.
