Penn State gymnastics: Nittany Lions hit season high

No. 24 Penn State matched a season-high team total in a 196.700-196.000 victory over Michigan State on Saturday night at Rec Hall.

Sharaya Musser earned the all-around title with a 39.575 total, while Kassidy Stauder tied for third at 39.075, and Penn State posted season-high scores on uneven bars and floor exercise.

Madison Merriam and Musser finished 1-2 on the uneven bars with a 9.950 and 9.925, respectively. Musser tied for first on the balance beam (9.925) and floor exercise (9.875) and was second on the vault (9.850). Lexi Carroll tied with Musser on the floor.

Penn State will be back in action next Saturday at Illinois
