UNIVERSITY PARK Penn State announced its five-member recruiting class who signed National Letters of Intent earlier this month.

Head coach Charlene Morett will welcome to the program this fall Sarah Bates, of Highland, Md.; Brooke Birosik, of Harrisburg; Carly Celkos, of Voorhees, N.J.; Emilee Ehret, of Philadelphia; and Kirsten Gochnauer, Mount Joy.

“I’m really excited about the class of 2013,” Morett said. “It’s a group of young girls that we’ve been keeping our eye on for a couple of years. What I really enjoy about this class coming in is that they’re very balanced. They’re outstanding students. They’re going to represent us very well in the classroom and on the field.”
