UNIVERSITY PARK Penn States season will continue this weekend with a best-of-three series against RIT in the College Hockey America tournament.
The teams will play Friday through Sunday at 2 p.m. each day. The third-seeded Tigers (14-15-5, 7-8-5 CHA) will host No. 6 seed Penn State (7-24-2, 1-17-2 CHA). This weekends winner will face No. 2 seed Syracuse in the semifinals in Erie beginning March 8.
Both programs are in their first year in Division I. While the Nittany Lions were elevated from being a club program, RIT won the Division III national championship last season.
