Mother Nature keeps playing havoc with the Bald Eagle Area basketball teams this postseason.
For the second time in two weeks, BEA had both its boys’ and girls’ District 6 Class AA playoff games postponed Tuesday and moved back a day.
The Lady Eagles (22-1) now will face Blairsville in semifinal action at 6 p.m. tonight at Hollidaysburg High School. That game will be followed by a semifinal boys’ clash between BEA (21-2) and Northern Cambria at 7:30 p.m.
The winners of each game will advance to Saturday’s title games at Saint Francis University and clinch spots in the PIAA Championships. The semifinal losers will play in a third-place consolation games on Friday, which decide the final District 6 teams to advance to the PIAAs.
