Footprints found in snow outside State College church; police still investigating string of church burglaries

Published: March 1, 2013

State College police are investigating after a set of footprints were found Wednesday morning in the snow around an area church.

Police said the footprints were discovered by construction workers around the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Centre County on Waupelani Drive Extension.

There were no signs anyone had broken in to the church, police said. But the discovery of footprints comes days after someone broke into three churches in Patton Township.

Patton police are still searching for suspects in that case.
