Bald Eagle Area basketball teams headed for District 6 tournament consolation games

The Bald Eagle Area basketball teams are headed back to Hollidaysburg High School for the third time in a week.

The boys’ and girls’ will play in District 6 Class AA consolation games Friday. The Lady Eagles (22-2) meet Westmont Hilltop at 6 p.m. with the winner advancing to the PIAA playoffs to face the District 7 champion in the opening round.

The Eagles (21-3), who have already qualified for the PIAAs, will face Bishop McCort in the third-place game. The winner will face the District 7 runner-up, while the loser will face the District 7 champion in the opening round of the PIAAs.
