UNIVERSITY PARK — Seventh-ranked Ohio State won all six matches on Saturday to drub Penn State 7-0 at Sarni Tennis Center.
Penn State fell to 5-7, and 1-7 against ranked opponents.
The Buckeyes (11-0) swept their way to the doubles point before two of their top players were tested in singles play.
Penn State’s Bryan Welnetz tested second-ranked Peter Kobelt at No. 1 singles before falling to the Buckeye 6-7 (7-4), 6-2, 7-6 (7-4). Penn State’s Tomas Hanzlik fell to No. 17 Blaz Rola at No. 2 singles 6-1, 4-6, 6-2.
