ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Penn State's season ended with a 3-2 overtime loss to RIT on Saturday night, as the Tigers advanced to the second round of the CHA playoffs.

Penn State (7-26-2) received goals from Taylor Grossand Hannah Hoenshell (Plano, Texas), while goaltender Nicole Paniccia (Oakville, Ont.) stood on her head with 56 saves.

RIT's Kim Schlattman ended the game 47 seconds into overtime to quell the Nittany Lions' hopes of forcing a third game.
