Penn State swimming: Katie Rowe wins fly at qualifier

Penn State’s Katie Rowe won the 200-yard butterfly and posted an NCAA provisional qualifying time at the NCAA Last Chance races at Ohio State on Sunday.

Rowe had the fastest time in qualifying with her best time of 1:58.33, then won the finals in 1:58.99. Neither time met the NCAA automatic qualifying standard but gave her four B-cut times this season.

The NCAA Championships will be held in Indianapolis March 21-23.
