UNIVERSITY PARK Penn States Kelly Lechner was named American Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday as well as WomensLax.com Player of the Week.
Also, the Nittany Lions moved up to No. 7 in the IWLCA coaches poll, the programs highest ranking since it was sixth in 2007.
The sophomore midfielder had three goals and an assist in a 16-9 win over Duquesne and added two goals and two assists in a 15-14 victory over then-No. 6 Virginia.
