Man claims to be Office of Aging worker, tries to offer services to Park Forest resident

Patton Township police said a man claiming to work for the county’s Office of Aging tried to offer a Park Forest resident personal care help on Monday.

Police said the man does not work for the Office of Aging, and that workers do not go door to door offering services.

The man, described as white and in his 60s, even offered the resident a packet of information about the services provided by the Office of Aging.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 234-0273.
