Brandon Boggs' go-ahead RBI single in the eighth inning lifted the Minnesota Twins to a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates in spring training action.

Josh Willingham went 2-of-3 with an RBI for the Twins, who three innings of one-run ball from starter Cole De Vries.

Alex Presley smacked two doubles and scored a run for the Pirates. Starter Gerrit Cole surrendered a run on five hits and struck out four over four innings.
