A South Carolina man pleaded guilty Tuesday for stabbing another man at a State College hotel in December.

The Centre County District Attorney’s Office said William Dixon, 22, pleaded guilty to felony aggravated assault during a pre-trial conference.

Police said Dixon stabbed another South Carolina man after an argument at the Autoport restaurant. The men were in the area for construction jobs, police said.

Prosecutors said Dixon could serve 9 months to 3 and a half years in prison. He will be sentenced May 9 before Judge Jonathan Grine.
