A stretch of East College Avenue was closed late Friday as emergency crews responded to a crash.

State College police, Alpha Fire Company and state Department of Transportation workers were clearing the scene around 11:30 p.m. after the accident. State College police said late Friday that the road had reopened.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Elmwood Street and East College Avenue. A section of road between Squirrel Drive and Puddintown Road was closed for about an hour.
