Three charged in connection with theft of nearly $1,000 of clothing

Three people were charged Sunday in connection with the theft of nearly $1,000 in clothing from Macy’s at the Nittany Mall, State College police said.

Lakesha Dixon and Taryn Lewis were both charged with third-degree felonies and Joseph Love was charged with a third-degree misdemeanor in connection with the theft, according to court documents.

All three remain in Centre County Correctional Facility after each person was unable to post $5,000 bail.

Their preliminary hearings are scheduled for Wednesday.
