Penn State lacrosse: Nittany Lions thump Bucknell

— Behind four goals from TJ Sanders and a strong defensive effort, the Penn State men’s lacrosse team dominated Bucknell on Tuesday night at Christy Mathewson Memorial Field.

The No. 16 Nittany Lions (6-3, 2-0 CAA) scored the final eight goals of the game to stop the Bison (8-2).

Tom LaCrosse added three goals, Shane Sturgis had two goals and three assists, and Jack Forster and Kyle VanThof each contributed a goal and an assist. Nick Dolik and Pat Manley also gave out one assist apiece.

Austin Kaut made 14 saves as the Nittany Lions outshot the Bison 28-26.

Penn State travels to Villanova on Saturday.
