High school baseball: State College tumbles to Cumberland Valley

Cumberland Valley handed State College its second consecutive Mid-Penn loss with a 7-3 victory on Wednesday at Community Field.

Matt Ober and Michael Adams combined for a five-hitter for the Eagles. Adams had two hits and scored three runs. Matt Davis had three hits.

Dan Fry paced the Little Lions (1-2) with two hits and scored a run. Darian Herncane and Jason Costa each drove in a run.

State College plays host to Carlisle at 4 p.m. today.
