WINGATE — Bellefonte earned 10 wins as it swept past Bald Eagle Area and Huntingdon on Thursday. The Red Raiders dropped BEA 85-65. The Eagles raced past the Bearcats 114-36.
Leading the Red Raiders was triple winner Sean Gipson (200, 400, long jump) along with double winners Mitchell Smith (1,600, 3,200) and Nick Grasser (shot put, discus). Andrew ODonnell took the 3,200 and Matthew Swartz in the triple jump. Bellefonte also won the 1,600 and 3,200 relays.
The Eagles Jacob Ilgen won the 110 and 300 hurdles while Mitchel Struble was first in the javelin and pole vault.
