The skinny: The Mounties have a small roster this season without much depth, with only six returning letterwinners and the graduation loss of several key point-earners. … Despite graduation loss of PIAA qualifier Cole Curtis, hurdles are expected to be a strength for P-O, with Colin Maurer and Wyatt Holden. … Sprinters are led by Chris Barnhart and Ben Webster. … Jay Prentice, Kaleb Bennett and Zach Hynd are expected to be the top runners in the middle and long distances. … The jumpers include Maurer, Dalton Wison and Nick Templeton. … Joey Whitehead is expected to lead the throws. … Newcomer Nick Boumerhi will be looking for points in the pole vault.

Coach Perry says: “(We’re) trying to figure out where kids belong. … (We are looking forward to) how the young athletes progress through the season.”
