Penn State men’s lacrosse: Forster, Sanders honored

— Penn State’s Jack Forster and TJ Sanders were honored for their play in a big win over the weekend with Colonial Athletic Association weekly awards.

Forster was named CAA Co-Player of the Week after his four goals and one assist in a 13-6 win over Drexel, sharing the honor with Towson goalkeeper Andrew Wescavage. Sanders was named CAA Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season after also netting four goals against Drexel.

The No. 11 Nittany Lions (8-3, 3-0 CAA), who have won six straight, host Towson on Saturday.
