High school girls track and field: Penns Valley earns pair of wins

— Carolyn Darr won three events while Kayla Bracken, Alyssa Limbaugh and Grace Gover each won twice as Penns Valley scored dominating wins over Central and Bellefonte on Tuesday.

The Lady Rams beat the Lady Raiders 102-48 and the Scarlet Dragons 130-20. Bellefonte topped Central 120-30.

Darr was fastest on the track in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes and helped the 1,600 relay team win. The 400 relay team also took first for the Lady Rams. Bracken crossed the finish line first in both the 100- and 300-meter hurdles, Limbaugh won the 1,600 and 3,200 and Gover won the high and triple jumps.

Chelsea Emel added a win in the shot put, Nicole Beinert won the discus and Rachel Long was first in the javelin.

Bellefonte got wins from Lydia Musser (pole vault), Kaitlyn Womer (long jump) and the 3,200 relay team.
