High school girls’ track and field: State College cruises past Chambersburg

— State College’s depth proved to be the difference as the Lady Little Lions topped Chambersburg 81.5-68.5 on Tuesday.

The Lady Trojans won more events, but the Lady Little Lions prevailed. Emma Cousins (800 meters), Lauren Bonness (100), Emily Randolf (300 hurdles), Niara Valentine (200), Kim Lightner (javelin) and Maria Verica (high jump) each won individual events for State College.

Cousins, Natasha Fedkina, Victoia Crawford and Larissa Burke won the 3,200 relay, while Bonness, Olivia Watkins, Haley Crawford and Valentine took the 400 relay.
