Bellefonte man charged with simple assault, making threats

— A Bellefonte man faces charges of simple assault and making terroristic threats following an incident early Saturday on Gobbler Lane in Spring Township.

Rockview state police say Andrew Joseph Myers, 26, struck and threatened to shoot an individual known to him during an altercation that occurred at at 4:15 a.m. Saturday.

Myers was taken into custody and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Daniel Hoffman. Myers was lodged at Centre County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail.
