Penn State basketball: Maggie Lucas tabbed to second team

— Penn State Lady Lion junior guard Maggie Lucas claimed another All-America honor as she was named to the Full Court All-America second team.

Lucas is the first Lady Lion to earn Full Court All-America honors since 2004 when Kelly Mazzante was a second-team choice.

The Narberth native has added several honors to her trophy case this season. Lucas was a finalist for the Wade Trophy and Wooden Award. Additionally, she was a USBWA All-American, second-team Associated Press All-American and honorable mention WBCA All-American. The Big Ten Player of the Year averaged 20.1 points per game with 98 3-pointers on 46.2 percent shooting from 3-point range.
