High school volleyball: Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders upend Little Lions

— Bishop Guilfoyle spotted State College the first two sets, then rallied for a five-set victory Thursday night.

The Marauders improved to 6-1 on the season with the 23-25, 20-25, 25-16, 25-20, 16-14 victory.

Noah Hanahan had a busy night in the back row for the Little Lions (3-4) with 35 digs to go with a pair of aces. Andrew Groves gave out 43 assists to go with his two aces, John Dorsey led the offense with 14 kils and Eric Deshong had 10 kills and four blocks.

Ben Kasum’s 10 kills, 35 assists, three blocks and three aces led Bishop Guilfoyle and Damon Rickes also had 10 kills.
