UNIVERSITY PARK — The Penn State men’s lacrosse team will host the Colonial Athletic Association Championship at the Penn State Lacrosse Field from May 1-3.
The No. 8 Nittany Lions (10-3, 5-0 CAA) clinched a share of the league crown, the top seed and hosting duties with a 13-7 win over Delaware on Saturday.
Penn State will host a to-be-determined opponent in one semifinal at 3 p.m. May 1, with No. 2 seed Drexel and No. 3 Towson meeting in the other contest at 5:30 p.m. The winners will battle for the league title, and an automatic NCAA tournament berth, on May 3. Hofstra, St. Joseph’s and Massachusetts are all possible opponents for the Nittany Lions.
Penn State closes the regular season at Hofstra on Saturday.
