High school baseball: Central Mountain rallies past Philipsburg-Osceola

— Central Mountain erupted for 13 runs in the fifth inning to rally past Philipsburg-Osceola 17-6 Tuesday.

The Mounties led 6-4 heading into the fifth inning before the offensive explosion for the Wildcats, who had 10 hits — four of them doubles — and took advantage of six errors for P-O along with six walks and two hit batters.

Mark Curtis was 2-for-3 with three RBIs for the Mounties (2-6).
