State police: Three guns stolen from Rush Township home

Three guns were stolen from a home in Rush Township within the past eight months, state police in Philipsburg reported Wednesday.

The guns were stolen from a bedroom closet at the home of Ronald Pinto on the 100 block of Loch Lomond Road. Police said someone got into Pinto’s house sometime between Sept. 1 and Tuesday, when the report was made.

The guns were a Mossberg 835 12-gauge shotgun, a Traditions 1951 Navy 44-caliber black-powder revolver and an H&R single-shot 12-gauge shotgun. They are worth $700, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 342-3370.
