High school softball: Bald Eagle Area’s Dudish stretches no-hitter into sixth in win at Clearfield

From CDT staff reportsApril 27, 2013

— The Bisons couldn’t hit Megan Dudish.

The Bald Eagle Area senior pitcher took a no-hitter into the sixth inning while striking out 18 and walking none in BEA’s 13-1 stomping of Clearfield on Friday.

Dudish was helped by an offensive surge in the fourth inning when the Lady Eagles plated seven runs to give her a comfortable cushion.

“From there we just started piling it on,” Bald Eagle Area coach Kayleen Sidisky said. “We ran the bases really well tonight.”

Haley Geidroc knocked in three runs for BEA (7-5) while Marissa Tobias added two RBIs. Clearfield committed eight errors.
