From CDT staff reportsApril 30, 2013

— Bellefonte didn’t need a home run from Erica DeVinney to put away Clearfield on Monday, but the Lady Red Raiders were happy to get one.

DeVinney led off the fifth inning with a solo shot to cap Bellefonte’s 6-1 softball win over the Lady Bison.

Stevi Confer pitched a complete game for Bellefonte (6-5). She walked three, fanned seven and scattered five hits.

She was aided by DeVinney’s two RBIs, and Sarah Menna, Carly Chambers and Vanessa Cooper, who also knocked in runs.
