High school baseball: Penns Valley recovers to drub East Juniata

From CDT staff reportsMay 2, 2013

— Penns Valley didn’t take long to get back in the win column.

After the Rams (7-6) saw their three-game winning streak snapped by Huntingdon on Tuesday, they rebounded with an 11-1 whipping of East Juniata in five innings on Wednesday.

Cody Luse picked up the win for the Rams while Taylor Collison, Wyatt Sharp, Kevin Butts and Max Bair all batted in runs for Penns Valley.

The Rams have won four of their last five.

“I think we’re starting to shake the rust off a little bit,” Penns Valley coach Chuck Romig said.
