Boys’ volleyball: State College falls in five

— Noah Hanahan and Eric Deshong put up some big numbers, but Cumberland Valley prevailed in the end 21-25, 26-24, 25-20, 22-25, 16-14 in Mid-Penn Conference play.

Hanahan had the back row covered with an incredible 42 digs, while Deshong put down 21 kills to go with a pair of blocks and aces.

Deniz Demerci added 12 kills and four aces and Kyle Shaffer had 50 assists and 14 digs for the Little Lions (5-6).
