Penn State football: Nittany Lions to face Central Florida in prime time clash on Big Ten Network

From CDT staff reportsMay 7, 2013

— Penn State’s prime time football slate has another addition.

The Big Ten Network announced Monday that it will carry Penn State’s Sept. 14 game against Central Florida. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Beaver Stadium.

The nonconference game joins contests against Michigan and at Ohio State as prime time games for Penn State.

Start times for Penn State’s other nine games have not been determined.

The game against the Knights will mark the first time BTN has aired a prime time telecast from Beaver Stadium. Penn State has played two prime time games on the network but those were road matchups at Northwestern in 2011 and at Iowa in 2012.

Penn State is 2-0 against UCF all-time with 27-24 and 37-13 wins in 2002 and 2004, respectively. Both of those games were played at Beaver Stadium.
