From CDT staff reportsMay 7, 2013

— Madisyn Sharer’s double, home run and three RBIs helped Penns Valley run all over Clearfield 11-1 in six innings on Monday.

Tangie Lyons also doubled and went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBIs for the Lady Rams (8-9), who will try to reach .500 Wednesday at Central Mountain.

“We had production throughout the lineup today,” said coach Don Lucas. “Lyons and Sharer continue to fuel our offense.”

Maggie Lynch (8-8) pitched all six and gave up one run on four hits, a walk and five strikeouts. Nicole Harbaugh went 2-for-3, while Kylee Wasson drove in two and Morgan Royer added an RBI.

“We’re starting to play a little better now here toward the end of the season,” Lucas said. “Hopefully we keep improving as the playoffs approach.”
