High school baseball: DuBois shuts out Philipsburg-Osceola

— The end to a tough season got closer for Philipsburg-Osceola (4-14) as the Mounties lost 9-0 loss to DuBois (14-4) on Tuesday.

It was P-O’s 10th loss in 12 games.

Caleb Pepperday took the loss for P-O after surrendering seven runs on nine hits and walking six with one strikeout.

DuBois hurlers Devon Walker and Garrett Brown combined to give up just three hits while Walker struck out seven to secure the win.
