Girls’ lacrosse: State College players, coach earn Mid-Penn Conference honors

Five State College lacrosse players earned Mid-Penn Conference All-Star honors on Wednesday while another garnered an honorable mention.

Carrie Mahon earned a first team nod for her efforts as a midfielder while Katie Mahon (defense) and Kristin Stonsteby (goalie) also were named to the First Team.

Caitlin McGlaughlin was named a second-team midfielder and midfielder Anna Stevenson garnered an honorable mention.

State College’s Mark Mahon was named Coach of the Year.
