Vehicle crashes into East College Avenue building

From CDT staff reportsMay 22, 2013

A woman escaped injury when her vehicle rammed into the Salvation Army building on East College Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

State College police said the building sustained significant damage in the accident. The vehicle crashed through a large window and into an office area.

Police said the woman was trying to park and overcompensated due to a steep incline in the lot, causing her vehicle to ram the building.

Police did not identify the woman, or release additional details Wednesday afternoon.
