The workweek got off to a rainy start, with the remnants of Tropical Storm Andrea having already dropped several inches of rain throughout the mid-Atlantic and Northeast, but the heaviest precipitation mostly skirting Centre County.

That system was followed by another from the Midwest, which will continue to make for soggy weather into Tuesday.

According to AccuWeather.com in State College, thunderstorms are possible for Centre County on Monday afternoon and evening, and again on Tuesday.

Midweek, look for a mix of sun and clouds and chances of thunderstorms, with highs in the mid to upper 70s and low 80s. More thunderstorms are predicted for Father’s Day weekend, according to Accuweather.com.
