Baltimore, Harrisburg men face robbery charges after Burnham break-in

— Two men face robbery-related charges after a home break-in Tuesday afternoon.

Mifflin County Regional Police Department said Demont C. Hodo, of Baltimore, and Donnie Wright, of Harrisburg, went into a residence on South Walnut Street, Burnham, at 4:46 p.m., produced a firearm and robbed the resident of approximately $1,300.

Police say the men fled in a vehicle, which was described by the victim. Hodo and Wright were arrested a short time later on U.S. Route 322 in Juniata County.

“Evidence of the crime was located in the vehicle and on the persons of the actors,” police said in a report.

The firearm used in the incident was determined to be stolen, police said.

Hodo was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and theft, theft, receiving stolen property, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and possession of firearms by a prohibited person. Wright was charged with criminal conspiracy to commit robbery and theft.

The men were taken to Mifflin County Correctional Facility, awaiting arraignment.
