Letter to the editor | Where’s the benefit?

June 20, 2013

The proposal developed by the consultant hired by the county to give Centre Crest to a non-profit relies on cuts to the employee retirement program and a 40 percent increase in employee health insurance premiums.

Commissioners praise employees for the care provided to residents, but actions speak louder than words. You don’t keep good employees by cutting their benefits.

Keep Centre Crest county owned.
