Huntingdon County man faces child assault, rape charges

A 61-year-old Shade Gap, Huntingdon County, man was charged Thursday with indecent assault of a 10-year-old girl, according to state police in Huntingdon.

The incident happened during various times since December through March 31, according to police.

Gregory Kilpatrick was arrested on indecent assault and corruption of a minor charges and was arraigned Thursday. His bail was set for $100,000.

This isn’t the first set of similar charges against Kilpatrick, according to police. State police said he was in the Huntingdon County Jail for June 6 rape charges also involving a juvenile female. That bail also was $100,000, police said.

Kilpatrick remains in jail awaiting a preliminary hearing on his June 6 charges.
