Indecent assault reported on Penn State’s campus

Penn State police are investigating a report of indecent assault on campus from September.

Chief Tyrone Parham said police believe a female student was sexually assaulted in a residence hall by a man she knew.

Parham declined to provide information about the man, saying police do not release information about a perpetrator until the person is charged with a crime.

No further information was available.
