Drama ‘King’s Faith’ comes to State Theatre on Thursday

From CDT staff reportsJune 27, 2013

Beating the Odds Foundation has partnered with producers of “King’s Faith” to bring the drama to the State Theatre at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Rocco Scalzi, of Beating the Odds Foundation, said this is a one-night-only event.

“King’s Faith” is a PG-13 rated story about a foster couple who care for a teen attempting to leave behind a troubled past.

DiBella and Faith Street Film Partners LLC, a Rochester N.Y.-based collective of filmmakers, churches, investors and supporters, produced the film.

Scalzi said ticket proceeds will benefit Beating the Odds Foundation — a central Pennsylvania-based program that encourages youth to overcome life’s obstacles.
