Letter to the editor | Firsthand experience

June 28, 2013

Our recent experience with rehabilitation care by professionals at Centre Crest merits confidence.

Centre County residents need to be proud of our facility and services.

It is difficult to conceive that the financial needs to provide the current services can be made available more efficiently by any other method than the current tax-supported system. Tax support now and continuing for future generations is a must.

The vote taken in haste by county commissioners to transfer Centre Crest to a nonprofit should be rescinded.

Pipe’s ideas are worthy of extensive discussion by the public.
