Man charged with breaking into Bellefonte Wok

A Bellefonte man was arrested after allegedly breaking into the Bellefonte Wok and taking the cash register and attempting to break into Governors Pub early Sunday morning, state police at Rockview said.

Duane Ishler, 38, was charged with two counts of felony burglary, two counts of felony criminal trespass, one count of misdemeanor use/possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of misdemeanor theft, one count of misdemeanor receiving stolen property and one count of misdemeanor criminal mischief, according to court documents.

The total damage to the two businesses is estimated at about $1,800, police said.

State College police assisted in the arrest for the incident, which occurred at about 2:50 a.m. Police said Ishler confessed to the break-ins.

He was taken to Centre County Correctional Facility after being unable to post $25,000 bail.
