Bridge replacement scheduled in Gregg Township

Work was scheduled to begin Monday to replace a structurally deficient bridge in Gregg Township along Ross Hill Road, the state Department of Transportation said.

Work on the bridge, which spans Penns Creek in Farmers Mills, is scheduled to last until late November. A detour using Penns Cave Road will be in place until late September, according to PennDOT.

Nestlerode Contracting Co. Inc., of Lock Haven, is the contractor on the $596,000 project.
